A title-based first screen of the 4,980 use cases in the MetroMinds Library finds 333 that touch an Annex III high-risk area of the EU AI Act, about one in fifteen. Employment and workers management is the largest group with 151, followed by critical infrastructure with 91 and public benefits and services with 54.
Why it matters
Only 56 of the 333 sit in Human Capital and Culture, the capability HR owns, and 21 in Technology, Data and AI. More than three quarters sit outside HR and IT, in tools that teams adopted for another purpose, so they are easy to miss.
What you can do
